Day One of our low cost holiday

Hello Dear Reader,

We're here, on the campsite and glamping in our rented mobile home. The British firms, such as Keycamp charge more for Whitsun half term break but the family owned sites do not charge peak prices until August so if you have children and want a reasonably priced holiday then make your way to France in the half term.

We've brought every thing we need with us and I'll home cook as normal. I've even brought the mini oven and we're having oven chips for supper! not so healthy but we've parked the car and go every where bike bike. There seem to be plenty of retired Brits on our site who have brought their own caravans and plenty of young families with their own tents;it's certainly a cheaper option.

I'm to pour myself another cup of tea ,
Sit out side in the evening sun and just watch the comings and goings.

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs

  12. Enjoy you holiday in beautiful Bretagne !
It makes sense that you find cheap renting price in June in France. We don't have half-term holiday for the 3rd term because school ends at the very beginning of July.
So this is not yet "haute saison" prices. I guess there is very few French families in the camp site, maybe just some people with very small children...
