Handmade Christmas

Hello Dear Reader,

Here's the latest quilt all finished and I have one more on the go and half quilted, one made and ready to back and another to finish. If you want to go UFO spotting, then you only have to have a mooch around my sewing room. I'm also going to make two quilted cushions to go with this quilted throw and that's one more gift off my list.

The backing and the binding are from charity shop fabric, the quilt top was an unfinished project and I've used cotton batting so it's soft, light and cuddly. The binding is a floral fabric which accents most of the colours I've used.

The backing is a complete contrast and is red and blue checked flannel which just adds to the cuddly feel of this quilt. It's going to my mum in law and I'm going to send her a 'hug' every time she uses it. If it wasn't late, I would get started on another!

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs xxxxxxxx
