| Froogs at a posh awards ceremony in her dress from the Hospice Charity shop. |
Hello Dear Readers,
In September last year, your votes secured me the 'Best Thrifty Blog' award at the Mum and Dad Blogger awards and I couldn't have done it without you. If you feel inclined and you would like to, it would be lovely if you could nominate me for an award in this year's competition. You can nominate me in one category or several, such as food:
Or blog writing, that's if you think what I write is interesting and you come back for more?
In craft? for being a self taught quilter and now quilting teacher
or thrifty for the funny things I do, such as my obsession with collecting pallets for firewood.
It's up to you, I would love to be nominated and need lots of nominations to go to the next round of voting. My best thrifty blog award took me to Radio Cornwall and it would be lovely to be able to get the message of money saving and living simply even further afield. You can vote from anywhere in the world and I would appreciate your support.
Click, if you feel you want to, onto the link and follow the screen instructions to nominate me.
Thanks so much for all the lovely comments and delicious ideas for slow cookers and I've pinched a good few of them as they seems too good to forget.
Until tomorrow,
Love Froogsxxxx

Poor you. Keep warm and cosy...have a tot of whisky. It may not help the cold butit might make you feel better!
ReplyDeleteIf you got a cough may I suggest Bronville, or any dark chocolate, 1 square sucked every 30 min...its the only thing stops mine. Was published in the Lancet a number of years ago. Hope your better soon
ReplyDeleteDear Froogs, Please ask Dearly Beloved to pander to you and help you get better on behalf of us all out here on blogland. Thank you, FMx
ReplyDeleteoh no, get well soon!
ReplyDeleteSorry about you being sick. I hope that you will soon feel all better.
ReplyDeleteI've been taking vitamin C all since this fall and so far, I've been very lucky with not getting colds. I watched for specials and I buy the time released kind.
Hugs,
JB
Am I seeing something different to everyone else? I am commenting on the post regarding voting for Froogs (which I have done) but see lots of replies saying "Get well soon..." etc. Ummmmm, what's going on??
ReplyDeleteAnyway, love the photo of you in the hospice dress you look stunning. Good luck with the award.
And I guess, get well soon if you are actually ill too. From one lurgy sufferer to another.
LOL, thought it was just me, read the post a couple of times and nothing about Froogs being poorly, add my best wishes for a speedy recovery anyways.
DeleteThank goodness...I thought I was losing it. :-)
DeleteI think I have just voted. I am not sure I did it right. I wish they would make it easier. I put my name in and then my email and then this blog address. next thing I know it was another page? Does that mean I voted? I just tried again and it said you cant vote?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the MADs! You looked like you had a ball last time (whilst staying true to your frugal beliefs - sleeper train!)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes
Debbie
